The Juice Isn’t Worth The Squeeze

The Juice Isn’t Worth the Squeeze is a colorful way to describe situations where the results obtained aren’t worth the effort. It’s a conclusion best reached before doing or saying something, but it’s often used in the past tense as well- when things haven’t worked out as planned. Either way, it’s another sticky saying that I’ve never forgotten- and it serves as a reminder that our words and actions have consequences, so it’s best to think things through before we act, instead of regretting them later. In that event, we can act in haste and repent in leisure.
